YWCA Seeks Gift Basket Donations for Children in Shelters and Housing Programs
Spring gift baskets may be dropped off at the YWCA Family Village - Redmond. The baskets can be filled with fun items like toys, games, learning supplies or candy

The YWCA Seattle/King/Snohomish is asking for volunteers to help provide 1,000 Spring Baskets for homeless and low-income children living in YWCA shelter and housing programs.
YWCA says its shelters are a safe haven to the families working hard to move forward in their lives and build a better future for their children. YWCA's Eastside housing program is at which features temporary apartments on the upper floors, YWCA offices and social services on the ground floor, peaceful landscaping and an enclosed play area. Family Village also houses a job training center, child care and a Working Wardrobe shop, all focused on helping low-income families.
The YWCA welcomes donations of personally created or store bought baskets filled with fun items like toys, games, learning supplies or candy. The YWCA will also accept cash donations to purchase baskets.
