Woman, 71, Shot, Pistol-Whipped In Robbery

Police are searching for two suspects in the case.

SEATTLE, WA -- A 71-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder and pistol-whipped by two suspects in a home invasion robbery Tuesday afternoon. The woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Police said the incident happened in the 10700 block of Renton Avenue South shortly after 4 p.m.

Police said the two suspects in the case are at large, who were last seen running southbound from the house.

One suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his late teens, as 6′ tall, wearing a white jacket and white pants and armed with a black handgun. The second suspect is also described as a light-skinned black teen, 5’6″, skinny, wearing a blue jacket and dark pants. He has a mustache, police said.
