Suspicious Package Found Aboard Seattle Ferry

SEATTLE, WA -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious package Saturday morning aboard a downtown Seattle ferry. The package was found aboard the ferry Kaleetan, prompting the U.S. Coast Guard to enforce a 500-yard safety zone around Colman Dock.

The Coast Guard reported the incident at around 7 a.m.

Ferry services resumed around 7:40 a.m. after officials cleared the package, the Coast Guard said.
