Bike Thief Caught On Camera In University Place: Sheriff
A burglary suspect was caught on camera early Sunday stealing an electric bike from Down Right Cozy Fireplace & Spa in University Place.
UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA — The Pierce County Sheriff's Department on Monday shared video of a man who is accused of stealing an electric bicycle from a business in University Place. Anyone who recognizes the man, or has information about the burglary, is asked to call the sheriff's department.
The burglary reportedly occurred just after 5 a.m. June 23 at Down Right Cozy Fireplace & Spa, located at 7412 27th St. W. in University Place.
According to the sheriff's department, the suspect broke into the business and cut a cable bike lock to get the brand new Atom Lynx 6 27.5 Pro. The bike has a listed MSRP of $4,599.
