Held every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure every American has the resources they need to stay safe and secure online while increasing the resilience of the Nation against cyber threats.

The City of University Place, in recognizing the importance of cybersecurity awareness, has joined CISA and NCSA as a Champion in this year’s campaign. Keep an eye out for information that will be shared on the City’s social media channels; messages will be emphasizing the following weekly themes:

  • Week of October 4 (Week 1): Be Cyber Smart.
  • Week of October 11 (Week 2): Phight the Phish!
  • Week of October 18 (Week 3): Explore. Experience. Share. – Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week
  • Week of October 25 (Week 4): Cybersecurity First
