Curtis Boys Capture SPSL League Championship Swim Meet Over The Weekend

Junior, BJ Woodbury, won the 200 IM and 100 Free league titles by besting his already state times for those events. The boys continue their post season competition this Friday and Saturday at the District meet at Curtis.

Over the weekend, the Curtis High School swim team, which was undefeated
during the regular season, outscored fourteen other teams as they won the
SPSL league championship meet by thirty points.

Junior BJ Woodbury, wonΒ the 200 IM and 100 Free league titles by besting his already state timesΒ for those events. Other Top 6 finishers at league were freshman TroyΒ Friedman in the 200 IM and 500 Free, junior Eddie Na in the 50 free, junior Carter Sherriff in diving, junior Riley Hess in the 100 butterflyΒ and 100 back, senior Giles McIntire in the 100 buttefly, senior YongwoonΒ Kim in the 100 back, junior Jason Mukai in the 100 breast stroke, and freshman Garrett Friedman in the 100 breast stroke. The boys continueΒ their post season competition this Friday and Saturday at the DistrictΒ meet at Curtis.
