Jay Montepare at Tacoma Comedy Club

Jay began his stand up comedy career in Boston as the host of “The Tribe Presents,” a weekly show twice named The Best Comedy Show in Boston byThe Boston Phoenix.  Beloved for his unabashed physical comedy and off-the-cuff audience interplay, Jay has become a regular at The Hollywood Improv and Comedy Juice shows in Los Angeles, while he regularly performs at The World Famous Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The Icehouse.  He has been seen on “The Rebels of Comedy” pay-per-view special, The Comedy Time Network, and “Comedy All-Stars” with Tommy Davidson. Recently, Jay  performed in the 2010 San Francisco Comedy Competition, taking home a top 5 ranking in three rounds. His original sketches are all over Funny or Die and his face can be found urging you towards consumerism in numerous national commercial campaigns.  

Jay recently showcased in the 2010 Atomic Comedy Festival and appears in the upcoming independent feature “Kissing Strangers.”  His one-hour comedy album entitled, “The Sound That Jokes Make” can be purchased on iTunes and Amazon.com.
