Final Round of Battle of the Bands Set For Thursday at the Curran Apple Orchard

Time to let the battle commence. Here's some information about the Battle In The Orchard, the culmination of University Place's annual battle of the bands.

Battle In The Orchard - University Place’s Second Annual Battle of the Bands - Final Round - Thursday, June 28!

The Final Round will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., at the Park located at 3920 Grandview Dr. W., University Place, WA 98466. This event is free and all-ages.

(If the weather doesn't cooperate, the competition will be moved to the cafeteria, located at 8425 40th Street West in UP. A decision will be made/posted regarding the weather by noon on Battle In The Orchard’s Facebook page.)

Finalists for this year's event include:

• Dungeon Science (Tacoma)
• The Mural Project (Tacoma)
• Static (Spanaway)

Plus, there will be a special guest performance from Bridgeport (Boise, ID)!

Winners will get to play at the U.P. Festival on Saturday, August 4.

FANS: Please join us for a fun and relaxing evening at the Curran Apple Orchard Park, cheering on our talented youth! There will be multiple raffles to help fund local events such as this. $1 per raffle ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.

Also, this year we will be selling Battle In The Orchard t-shirts! $15 or $12.50 with a Facebook "like" of Battle In The Orchard's page by clicking here. Proceeds will benefit future Battle In The Orchard events.
