The top three candidates to replace outgoing University Place Police Chief Mike Blair will meet with community members next Tuesday.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA — The top three candidates in line to replace outgoing University Place Police Chief Mike Blair will be available to meet and answer the community's questions during an event at City Hall next week.
After Blair accepted a promotion to join Pierce County Sheriff Paul Pastor's team as Chief of Staff, the city began its police chief selection process, narrowing down the field to three candidates.
Those individuals will be available to the community for the "meet and greet" event from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at 3609 Market Place West, on the second-floor atrium.
