Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Welcomes Harbor Seal Pup
A Pacific Harbor seal at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium gave birth to a 23-pound male pup on Sunday.
A Pacific Harbor seal named Shila gave birth to a healthy seal pup on Sunday, June 2.Â
According to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium's Facebook page, the 23-pound male pup and Shila are doing well and will remain behind-the-scenes until he bonds closer with mom and gains his blubber layer.
The zoo officials have yet to release the name of the pup. What should be the baby seal's name?
