PUBLIC NOTICE: The University Place City Council will hold its scheduled meetings to ensure essential city functions continue. Members of the public can attend and participate in a Council meeting in the following manners:

  • In-person at the City Council Chambers at 3609 Market Place West, Third Floor. In response to state and local directives, masks are required for all visitors to City Hall and the City Council Chambers, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Remote access by watching live broadcasts on University Place Television, Rainier Connect Channel 12 or Comcast Channel 21, by watching digitally on the City’s YouTube channel www.YouTube.com\UniversityPlaceTV, by dialing in to listen audio-only at +1 509-342-7253 United States, Spokane (Toll), Conference ID: 110 848 521#. The meeting invitation begins at 6:15 p.m. for technical setup. City Council members and the public may dial in and/or connect at this time. However, the meeting does not officially begin until 6:30 p.m.

Participation in Public Comments and public testimony on Public Hearings will be accepted. In addition to participation in the meeting through one of the above ways, written comments/testimony can be provided via email. Comments should be sent to the City Clerk at Egenetia@cityofup.com. Comments received up to one hour (i.e., 5:30 p.m.) before the meeting will be provided to the City Council electronically.
