Search For Armed 7Eleven Robbery Suspect
Deputies are hoping the public will recognize the suspect in an armed robbery early last week.
UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA — The Pierce County Sheriff's Department has released new surveillance footage showing the suspect in an armed robbery earlier this month.
The video was taken just before 4 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, and according to deputies shows the suspect as he steals several items from the 7Eleven on Orchard St. W. in University Place.

The clerk followed the suspect outside the store to confront him, which is when deputies say he drew a handgun and threatened the clerk. He then fled east towards a nearby apartment building.
The man is described as a white male in his 20s with a slender building and auburn or brown hair. He was wearing a black bandana, white shirt with tan pants, black and gray Nikes and a Cincinnati Reds baseball hat.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call either the Pierce County Sheriff's Department or University Place Police.
