Sweetheart Dance Registration Now Open
Register now for a night of music and dancing with your little princess at Curtis High School in University Place next month.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - It's not too late for UP dads to register for the 16th annual father-daughter Sweetheart Dance at Curtis High School next month. Formerly known as the Daddy Daughter Dance, the event invites uncles and aunts, grandpas and grandmas, big brothers, moms, and of course dads to spend an evening partying with their favorite little girls.
Featuring music and dancing, a photo booth, refreshments, and interactive entertainment, the Sweetheart Dance will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 9 in the cafeteria at Curtis Senior High School, located at 8425 40th St. W. in University Place.
Early registration is $45 per duo, and $5 apiece for each additional child. Registration at the door on the night of the event increases to $50 per duo. Online registration opened Jan. 7.

Prospective attendees can also register in-person at the school's Student Accounts office Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Cash and/or check are the only payment options for in-person registrations.
According to the city, a professional photographer will be available at the party to provide photo-ops for a nominal fee. Pre-registered attendees get their photo-ops first, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
