Thursday, July 19, at 7 p.m. meet New York Times best-selling author Gregg Olsen at University Place Pierce County Library.

Award-winning author Olsen will speak about and sign two thrilling books set in Washington - "Starvation Heights: A True Story of Murder and Malice in the Woods of the Pacific Northwest" and "Envy," the first book in the young adult series, Empty Coffin.

Friends of the University Place Library sponsor this free event. Books will be available for purchase courtesy of King's Books.

Olsen's books can be found at University Place Library and and throughout Pierce County Library System.

He has written more than a dozen true crime books and novels, and has appeared in newspapers and magazines, as well as on national and local television shows.

Olsen, a Seattle native, lives in Olalla, Washington.
