YOU VOTED: Patch Users Pick "Cool Clouds" For Facebook Cover

Earlier this month - in our quest to reach 1,000 "Likes" on our Facebook page (please do so if you haven't already) - we asked you to submit your best photos from around the community for our cover.

A number of you posted some great pictures to our site. We selected our favorites and asked you to .

After careful consideration, we've determined that the winner is ... "Cool Clouds" by Patch user Chris Anderson!

You can now find it at the top of our Facebook page.

The winning entry garnered 51 of the 116 total votes cast. It also got plenty of support in both the comments section and our Facebook page.

But it wasn't an easy decision. User Katie Thompson also submitted great shots, particularly the one titled "Chambers Bay Bridge," which also got its share of votes and comments.

That's why that photo will become our Facebook cover later this month. We'll also be asking users to contribute more photos. If there's one thing we at Patch have learned, it's that you sure can snap those pics, University Place.
