During the month of November and December, Barnes and Noble is hosting their annual Holiday Book Drive, collecting book donations for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska.
They will specifically be donating to the Seattle House. The Ronald McDonald House (RDMH) provides temporary housing to the families of any seriously ill children while undergoing treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital. In 2008, the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle provided 28,000 nights of housing to nearly 1,000 families.
The goal of this year's Holiday Book Drive is to collect a variety of book titles for children, teens and adults to help replenish the in-house library at Ronald McDonald House in Seattle. Customers are welcome to purchase new books for donation at the Woodinville Barnes & Noble store. At the conclusion of the Holiday Book Drive, the donation boxes will be delivered to the RDMH Seattle House.
