• Power outages reported across Washington as historic floods sweep the area (kiro7.com) — Power outages from intense rain and wind are affecting thousands statewide, including Puget Sound Energy customers in the area between Woodinville and Cottage Lake. With more rain and high landslide risk expected, residents should prepare flashlights, charged power banks, and nonperishable food. Officials also urge safe generator use and keeping fridges closed to protect food during extended outages.
