Racine Unified Recognizes Horlick Student As AP Scholar

On Monday, the Board recognized student Abigail Lyon for achieving the AP Scholar designation by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of three or higher.

RUSD had a total of 36 AP Scholars in 2011. These students exemplify achievement of the District's North Star Vision - that all students graduate career and/or college ready.

The College Board's AP Program provides willing and academically-prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement or both for successful performance on the AP Exams.
