Volunteers Needed For Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls of Racine is currently recruiting volunteers for our fabulous event on March 5th, 2012 at the Racine Masonic Center, 1012 Main St. Racine, WI.

People attending the event can taste at least 10 different kinds of soups, and breads. For $15, people will also get a handmade bowl with their meal, or you can get the soup put in a carryout bowl for $7. The cost for a child to eat is $5.

Half of the funds will go to local food banks and half will go to HALO, the Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization in Racine. Last year the group raised $23,000.

We are in need of volunteers for set-up on Sunday, March 4th, during the event on March 5th and following the event on March 5th for break down/clean up. Please take a look at the shifts that are available and let us know if you can join us this year. We'd love to have you on board!! Thank you in advance for your consideration.
