Caledonia Woman Arrested for Easter Sunday Attack

A woman reportedly woke up angry on Easter Sunday and attacked her boyfriend and his mother.
Kasara M. Dickerson, 23, 3458 Elderberry Road, is charged with two counts each of misdemeanor battery-domestic abuse and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse and one count of resisting an officer. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in jail or on probation for each charge.
Caledonia police were called to Dickerson’s home about 5 p.m. Sunday, according to the criminal complaint, where they found Dickerson and a man sitting on a bed, holding each others’ arms. The man said he did not want Dickerson arrested.

Dickerson continued to hold onto the man, and officers put her on top of a large pile of clothes on a couch to separate them.
Officers reported Dickerson refused to cooperate, and resisted having handcuffs put on her wrists.

The man told police Dickerson was very angry, and that they had argued and fought. He had bite marks and scratch marks on his side, back and arms. His mother also had scrapes and cuts.
