Woman Asks Community For Donations For Foster Care Kids

A Racine woman has started collecting donations to make duffel bags filled with items that will be given to kids in the Racine foster care system.

Heather Lojeski and her husband Mark started Faith, Hope, Love, a ministry of Living Light Christian Church because Heather new first hand how much hurt she experienced growing up in an abusive home.

She and Mark were foster parents and Heather worked in a camp for children who were abused and neglected.

Lojeski is collecting items to put into duffel bags to give foster children.

She wrote the following for Just Add Kids:

I have experienced first hand, just how important providing love, hope, and faith to the hurting children of Racine County.  Faith, Hope, and Love will be providing duffel bags/backpacks filled with items to help in providing comfort to children in crisis situations.  We believe these items will provide a sense of security in the midst of turmoil.
