Jean's Jazz Series Features The Stellanovas, Jeno Somlai

The Stellanovas "cafe jazz" and Jeno Somlai's "latin jazz" will come together for a two-set show that's the third installment of the annual Jean's Jazz Series.

The Stellanovas, led by husband-and-wife team Chris Wagoner and Mary Gaines, play an eclectic mix of jazz standards and pop tunes. They've worked with U2, Smashing Pumpkins, and Taj Mahal.

Jeno Somlai will perform with his latin jazz sextet. Somlai, a lifelong drummer, switched to piano when the things he wanted to do musically didn't match his instrument. He's joined by Eric Jacobson, Sam Fettig, Ethan Bender, Luis Diaz and Jeremy Kutzniar.
