Friendly's Organic Market Opens For Business

Friendly’s Organic Market, located at 6022 Douglas Ave., opened its doors to the public today.

You might remember the owners Megan Wickert and Heather Erickson, who used to operate a produce stand on Four Mile Road. They have since moved on and opened their own store, which features locally grown and organic produce, grass-fed beef, homemade dog treats, trinkets made by local artists, and crocheted items.

Wickert said they work with local farmers and get their organic produce from an organic produce supplier. Their hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
