I run a trucking company in which my primary job is to know business trends, solicit business and maintain discourse with business professionals. And also being a real estate broker allows me to invest in the future of this community. I have to be keenly aware of what attracts people to a community and, specifically in Caledonia, I have found the rural flavor is what attracts them. Being a small business owner in 2 capacities makes me a strong advocate for locally owned business that keeps dollars within our community.
