Kayaking on the Root River is a great way to spend an afternoon.
So on Saturday I set out in the kayak I rented from RiverBend. I have to admit, I was a little nervous because I had never kayaked before, but the folks at Riverbend helped me out with that. For $10, I got a new hobby and a peaceful experience. Check out the scenery.
