Congressman, Paul Ryan (R-Janesville), held a town hall meeting by telephone at about 7 p.m. Wednesday night.

And whether you agree or disagree with Ryan's comments, the fact that he held an engaging conversation with his constituents by telephone was an interesting twist.

On education: "If you get rid of the overregulation… which is stunting reform, and you give back the control locally – to me that’s more important."

Milk prices: "We need to go to a free market milk system.­"

The new health care law: "I think it’s a fiscal house of cards."

On the economy: "We need 250,000 jobs a month for five year just to get back to get to the unemployment we had five years ago.­"
