Students at Case High School being Evacuated

Officials with the Mt. Pleasant Police Department say a threat was made.

At 11:30 a.m. this morning, students at Case High School were being released from school after administrators had received a threat.

Captain Tom Petersen, of the Mt.­ Pleasant Police Department, declined to go into specifics about the threat and would not confirm or deny that a bomb threat had been made.

"Right now the school is closing and it's a precautionary thing," he said."This was the Principal's call and we're facilitating that. We've also got the Wisconsin State Patrol out there."

Students were told that school would be closing early and there was no reference to a threat being made.
