Franklin High School Homecoming Parade Returns: Photo Highlights
Last year, the pandemic left Franklin High School without many of its regular homecoming events. Thursday marked the return of the parade.

FRANKLIN, WI β This week marked the return of Franklin's annual homecoming parade after a year unlike any other for schools.

Among the many things that schools lost with the COVID-19 pandemic were school and community events, such as Franklin High School's annual homecoming parade.

There was no homecoming dance, no festivities or pep assembly either in 2020. A year later though, and Franklin High School's school spirit has proved to persist: On Thursday, the 2021 Homecoming Parade made a full return.
"It was great to see the students' energy as we returned to offering these options for this year and the enthusiasm that parade participants and watchers brought back to Homecoming," said Chad Kafka, communications specialist for the District.
