Franklin Schools Superintendent Search Narrowed To 3 Candidates

FRANKLIN, WI — The search for a new superintendent for Franklin Public Schools has been narrowed to three candidates, according to a newsletter published Friday by the district.

The Board of Education has been working with a firm, School Exec Connect, to find people for the position. Six people were interviewed recently, and on Friday the district announced the field of candidates has been narrowed to three people, the district newsletter said.

The Board of Education is hoping to make a final decision on the candidates this week, the district said in a news release published Friday, and the district will announce results as soon as someone accepts the job.

This week, the three remaining candidates will participate in the final interviews and spend a day in the district this week meeting with stakeholders and touring buildings, the news release says.

The three finalists are Annalee Bennin, Corey Golla and Stephen Plank. Each currently serve as superintendent in a different district, according to the news release.

Bennin is the superintendent for The School District of Sheboygan Falls, Golla is the superintendent for the Menomonee Falls School District, and Plank is the superintendent of the Burlington Area School District.
