New Superintendent Selected For Franklin Schools
Annalee Bennin will be Franklin Public Schools' next superintendent. She previously served as a superintendent in Sheboygan Falls.

FRANKLIN, WI β The Franklin Public School District Board of Education has selected a new superintendent, according to a letter sent to families on Wednesday.
Annalee Bennin will serve as the district's next superintendent starting on July 1. Bennin most recently was the superintendent for the Sheboygan Falls District and before that, she was an assistant superintendent of teaching and learning in the Oak Creek-Franklin School District, the letter said. The Board had recently narrowed the pool to three candidates.
βI am honored to join Franklin Public Schools and continue the Districtβs commitment to be a better place to learn, better place to work, and part of a better community,β Bennin said in the Board's letter. βThe core values of equity, personal growth, stewardship, well-being, and innovation align with my purpose as an educational leader. I look forward to our continued growth together as we build towards engagement with our families and community while always keeping our learners as the priority in our decision making.β

One thing about Bennin that impressed the Board was her entry plan to have "100 conversations in 100 days" as she intends to learn more about stakeholders in the district.
The Board hired Bennin after a search was contracted to the firm School Exec Connect, a firm that specializes in district leadership.
