Road Rage Incident + Reckless Driver: Franklin Police Logs

Here's a look back at noteworthy logs publicly reported by the Franklin Police Department from April 25-Sunday.

FRANKLIN, WI — The victim of a road rage incident told Franklin police he was shot at near 13th Street and College Avenue on April 27, according to the latest logs reported by the Franklin Police Department.

The man told police he was driving westbound when a white truck cut him off and slammed on the brakes. The victim tried to pull in front of the truck and confront the driver, leading to the driver shooting about three times, hitting the victim's vehicle, according to Franklin police. The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the incident.

  • Police arrested a Franklin man on April 25 around 6 a.m. after they found him walking in traffic in the 10100 block of 92nd Street, covered in blood and appearing to be on drugs, according to logs. Police found the man's vehicle crashed off of the road near 92nd Street and 8 Mile Road. The man was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • A caller told police someone drove onto his lawn leaving tire marks and damaging his drainage pipe on April 22 around 11 p.m., logs said.
  • Officers used Narcan to revive an unconscious driver who had just been in a single-vehicle rollover accident in the 9600 block of Loomis Road around 10 a.m. on April 27, according to logs.
  • A West Allis man was arrested on Sunday around 4 p.m. near Drexel Avenue and Forest Meadows Drive for reckless driving after Muskego police saw him driving over 100 mph on Loomis Road in a Mercedes E class, logs said.
