17th annual 2011 Garden Gazer Walking Tour Approved
The walking tour is being dedicated to a late member of the Gazer, Marlene Zingsheim.
The Village Board approved a permit last night for the 17th annual 2011 Garden Gazer Walking Tour.
The Greendale Garden Gazers will be holding the tour on July 9 from 8 a.m. to noon starting and ending at on Broad Street. The tour of gardens in the C-Section is expected to draw 600 to 800 participants, according to organizers P and Jan Seitz.
Every year the Gazers pick a section of the community to do the walk and work with gardeners that live in that community. Participant residents in that chosen section are asked to be home and outside to answer questions that walkers have.

This year the walk is being dedicated , who passed away in February. Zingsheim was a member of the Garden Gazers and participated in several walks. The Gazers have also dedicated a tree in her honor at Gazebo Park and are working towards having a plate dedication installed.
