Dogs Attack Mail Carrier

Mail carrier suffered puncture wounds to her shoulder.

A mail carrier was bitten by a dog in the right shoulder causing puncture wounds on Moorehead Lane on June 14.

Two dogs, a bull mastiff and a great dane, were involved in the attack. The owner pulled the dogs off the mail carrier and secured them. There have been no complaints in the past on file for those two dogs, according Greendale police.

A 10-day rabies quarantine was enforced for the dogs. The mail carrier was taken to the hospital.
