Facebook Events Celebrating Bin Laden's Death

The top story today in most news outlets is that Osama bin Laden is dead.

Reactions seem to be mixed. Some people seem relieved and feel slightly safer. Others don't agree that killing someone corrects the awful crimes that person committed. Some think bin Laden is just another bad guy on a list of many other bad guys that need to be caught. Others wonder whether this will make gas prices go down. Others rejoice.

When I say rejoice I mean just that, rejoicing and celebrating, even partying.

People celebrated last night outside of the White House and at Ground Zero.

A local student posted a Facebook event to celebrate bin Laden's death soon after the news was released.

According to the event the celebration will be Friday and the descriptions says, "I don't know where yet, and I don't know when but someone needs to have it."

This is not the only Osama's Dead Party Facebook event. There are quite a few of them popping up throughout the nation.
