There is plenty to do in Greendale this weekend and no need to leave the village, unless you want to.
1. Traditional and Digital Arts (TADA!) Festival
Where/When: / 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday

Why Go: The festival embraces cultural diversity and mixes traditional art with digital and performing arts from students in the elementary schools to the high school. Cultural cuisine, group/family photo shoots, and ethnic dance workshops will be offered. Performances start around 6:15 p.m.

2. The Greendale Community Theatre's Buffoonery Project: Fundraiser
Where/When: Muskego Country Lakes Club/ 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday
Why Go: The show will feature actors Robbie McGhee, Stephanie Staszak, Jordan Gwiazdowski and Laura McDonald. There will be three time-less musicals. Sound of Music, Annie and Oklahoma will all be done in under 75 minutes.

3.) Greendale Entertainment Association Children's Resale
Where/When: / 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday
Why go: Don’t miss this sale of over 180 sellers of quality name brand infant and children’s spring/summer clothing, swim suits, jackets, dresses, toys, bikes, outdoor play equipment, strollers, high chairs, car seats, baby equipment, furniture, books, videos , dvd’s, dance clothes, shoes, sports equipment and maternity.

4.) Grand Opening Celebration - "More Margo's"
Where/When: More Margo's in the downtown Greendale/ All day, Saturday
Why go: The day-long event will include refreshments and snacks as well as the chance to purchase the new sophisticated clothes and accessories available in the store.

5.) Historical Society Displays
Where/When: The Village Center/ 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday
Why go: The society recently scored some awesome old photos of Greendale that were donated by Kohls. They currently have them on display at the Village Center.
There will also have art by Carl M. Ruppert who is known for his Elvis Presley images using the artistic style of letterism.
Miniature replica wooden original Greendale homes will be on sale as well.
Also, there will be cross-stitching designs by Ken Judy on display.

6.) Winter Market Day
Where/When: Village Education Center/ 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday
Why go: As an extension of its popular Summer Market, the Greendale Parks and Recreation Department has established the Winter Market. Vendors at the first Winter Market in February offered items including, bakery, cheeses, apples, mushrooms, teas, soy candles and more.

7.) Ava Walk: Advocating for Vehicle Awareness
Where/When: Downtown Greendale/ 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday
Why go: The family of Ava Marie Zimmerman, the 5-year-old child that was killed by a car last year in downtown Greendale, is organizing a walk to increase pedestrian safety awareness to motorists. Come out and support!
