Greendale Pets Were Rescued from a House Fire

saved some pets from a house fire on Edgehill and 76th Street yesterday at around noon.

Chief Tim Saidler said that the fire ignited in a bedroom and was due to an overloaded electrical outlet.

No one was home at the time of the fire. Saidler said that a neighbor smelled smoke coming from the home and called 9-1-1.

The dog and cat were unharmed.
