Historical Crafting Event Coming Soon...

The Greendale Historical Society will hold a meeting and event on Thursday.

The Greendale Historical Society will be holding a membership meeting on Thursday and will present Crafting for a Purpose: WPA Milwaukee Handicraft Project.

The program will take a look at the handicrafts that were made during the Great Depression. People would make and sell textiles, furniture and other craft items.

The program will be led by Jacqueline M. Schweitzer (not Jackie), honorary curator of American History for the Milwaukee Public Museum.

The meeting will be at in the Multipurpose Room at 6:30 p.m.

An update will be given on the Greendale Historical Society's capital campaign and Magical History Deluxe Motorcoach Tour.
