Portrait painter Carl M. Ruppert has donated four of his artistic works to the historical society raffle. His works include portraits of Elvis Presley and Vince Lombardi.
Ruppert developed a technique dubbed letterism. This techniques draws from two schools of thought, pointillism or dots of color used to form an image, and “cubism” using angles or planes to create an image. Imagine seeing Elvis Presley and Vince Lombardi in that form.
