Homecoming in Greendale Schedule

Greendale seems to be pretty big on football. It makes sense that it would go all out with a pep rally, a parade, tailgate and bonfire. Folks, I hope you have energy on Friday. You're going to need it with this exciting schedule!

Greendale High School Student Pep Assembly

Parents and community members are invited to join students at a Homecoming Pep Assembly on Friday, September 30th in the Greendale High School gym.

Homecoming Parade for Greendale High School
When: Friday, September 30 at 4 p.m.
Where: Down

Greendale High School continues its celebration of Homecoming Week with the annual Homecoming Parade down Broad Street.

This year, will feature an improved parade, focusing on more involvement from the GHS athletic teams, the football players, clubs, and groups.

Greendale High School Annual Tailgate Dinner
When: Friday, September 30 at 4:30 p.m.
Where:

Greendale Panther Association Booster Club is sponsoring the annual Homecoming Tailgate Dinner. There will be tailgate dinner with complimentary face painting/hair spraying and the Greendale Panthers Varsity Homecoming game against the Whitnall Falcons.

A limited amount of tickets will be available at the door for $7. Dinner includes your choice of chicken breast sandwich, hamburger, brat or hot dog as the main entree and chips, pickle, dessert and a beverage (soda or water). 

GPABC has provided thousands of dollars of support for every athletic program at school.

Greendale Homecoming Football Game
When: Friday, September 30 at 7 p.m.

The Panthers welcome the Whitnall Falcons to Gavinski Stadium for Greendale's Homecoming football game. Don't miss this exciting match-up! Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Greendale High School Homecoming - First Annual Bonfire
When: 20 minutes after the football game
Where: , the old tennis courts

This year begins a new Homecoming tradition with the First Annual Homecoming Bonfire!! The concession stand will stay open during this time. The pep band will be playing at the bon fire, and the Homecoming King and Queen will ceremonially light the bonfire.

Greendale High School Homecoming Dance
When: Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m.
Where: Gym

Tickets are $15 each (cash or check made out to GHS) and include the dance, snacks, and a t-shirt kids receive when they leave the dance - sold during all lunches.

Anyone bringing a date from another school must have a completed dance pass form when they purchase tickets.

Drop-off: Students will not be allowed to enter before 8 p.m. (please encourage them to come no sooner than 7:45 p.m. because all they do is stand outside and wait for the doors to open). No matter when students arrive, they must be in the doors by 8:30 p.m.

Pick-up: For safety and responsibility, students are not allowed to leave the dance early.

Students may begin leaving at 10:45 p.m., but the dance is not over until 11 p.m.

Please remind students to: BRING SCHOOL ID and leave valuables at home.
