Police Blotter: A Caller Tries to Scam $2,400 from a Greendale Man

A man reported receiving a call from a Sheriff saying that his grandson was in jail and needed $2,4000 to get out on August 8. The caller told the man to go to a Western Union and wire transfer the money to a Marilyn Clower in Barcelona Spain.

Graffiti was found in area 1 of Root River Parkway on August 9.

Two employees were arrested on August 10. One was arrested for fraudulent activity and the other for theft.

A rescue was provided for a 53-year-old man at on August 10.

A man and a woman were reported to be arguing in the parking lot of on August 11 at around 8 p.m. The 39-year-old Greendale woman was arrested for OWI with prescription drugs.

A 46-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence on the 4300 block of Ramsey Avenue on August 11.

While being arrested for drunken driving a 34-year-old woman reported that she was part of a domestic dispute August 13 at around 11:30 p.m. A 36-year-old man was arrested two hours later for domestic violence on Morehead Lane.

Three boys were reported to be seen smoking on Orchard Lane on August 14. One boy was arrested for possession of tobacco.
