Police Blotter: Mailbox Blown Up; Dog Fight

These are the police reports from August 22 to August 28.

These incidents are part of the weekly reports.

A mailbox was blown up with an explosive on the 6500 block of Radburn Lane on Saturday night.

  • A woman was found dead after her brother called 9-1-1 stating that she was disabled and having a seizure on August 22.
  • A mother reported to police that she found drugs in her son’s room on Sumac Lane. Two juvenile boys were arrested on August 22.
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested after he was pounding on door of his parent’s home on Oakwood Lane on August 22. He was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of no contact order.
  • A 21-year-old man was arrested for possession and drug paraphernalia on August 23 at Scout Lake Park.
  • A dog ran out of a house and bit another dog causing injury on Skylark Lane on August 24. The injured dog got stitches at the vet costing $250. The owner of the dog that bit the dog was bitten by the injured dog.
  • An 18-year-old man was found passed out in between the sidewalk and roadway near Northway and Westway on August 25.  He was arrested for fourth offense underage drinking.
  • A girl was found passed out in someone’s backyard on the 5500 block of Oakwood Court on Sunday . She was later cited for underage drinking.
