Search warrant at Applewood apartments

The Greendale Police Department executed a search warrant at Applewood Village Apartments, 4401 W. Ramsey Ave., on September 24, according to police documents.  A resident said there were "six to eight squad cars and some of the officers were dressed in riot gear with guns drawn looking for a man who lives at 4301 W. Ramsey Ave.” officials have not returned messages seeking more information about what happened.

A child was left inside a green van for over an hour on September 22 at the Southridge Shopping Center parking lot. A 45-year-old woman was arrested for child neglect.

A man called police on September 19 from the 8600 block of Westlake Drive saying that there two aliens in his car.

  • A person reported a sexual assault to Greendale police on September 22. Police have not returned messages seeking information about the assault.
  • A stolen car was found near on September 20.
  • The apartment manager of College Square Apartments on the 6200 block of the 51st Street said that a man who showed interest in an apartment stole her phone when she turned her back on Sept. 20. The investigation is pending.
  • A 40-year-old Greendale man was arrested after his 18-year-old daughter reported to a public safety officer at Milwaukee Area Technical College that he had assaulted her at their home on the 5400 block of Rainbow Drive.
  • $10 was stolen Sept. 21 from an unlocked car in the 6000 block of Thornapple Drive. The owner believes it was the same person who stole oxycodone pills from the car a month ago.
  • A Cudahy man was arrested for drunken driving on Sept. 25 after he was fighting in the parking lot of the Greendale Police Department. He had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15.
  • A 21-year-old woman called in a fake prescription to on September 24. She was arrested on state charges of obtaining a controlled substance after she tried to pick it up.
