Police: Multiple Citations Issued After Retail Theft

This week's police reports also include an arrest in connection with graffiti at the community center and money stolen from a safe at Southridge.

These incidents are part of the Greendale Police Department's weekly call sheet from April 19-26.

A man was cited for criminal damage to property, possession of marijuana and interfering with police after a report of retail theft at Boston Store, 5300 S. 76th St., about 1:30 p.m. April 24. A second suspect fled eastbound into the M section and could not be found.

A man was arrested for trespassing in the 6200 block of S. 51st Street about 2:50 p.m. April 19.

A boy was arrested in connection with graffiti found at the community center, 6200 S. 76th St., about 10 a.m. April 20.

Money was reported stolen from a safe at Southridge Mall about 10:30 a.m. April 20.

A man was arrested for drug possession in the 5400 block of S. 60th Street about 11:25 a.m. April 22. A witness saw him show a knife the previous week.

Graffiti was reported at Custom Fabricate, 6100 Industrial Court, about 12:30 p.m. April 22.

A stolen vehicle was recovered at Grange Avenue and 76th Street about noon April 25.
