The Greendale Marching Band Calls On The Community For Clicking Votes
The marching band needs to stay on the top five to win $15,000.

competition and it needs to remain in the top five to win the prize for the next three days.
The money will be used to buy new uniforms for the band.

The band has 900,370 votes and Tom Reifenberg, the band’s director, placed a goal of ONE MILLION votes, according to an e-mail he sent out to band supporters. The goal requires an average of 36,700 votes each day till the competition ends.
The 70 plus member band, director and parent chaperons are on a trip in New Orleans helping rebuild houses this week and aren’t able to vote as often as they like. Other band families are away on Spring Break and are calling on the community to help vote.

Here are some instructions on how to vote provided by a band supporter, Jodi Lane:
- Go to: http://www.wsbonline.com/anniversary/
- Click on the VOTE NOW button
- In the drop down window choose “Greendale High School Marching Band”
- Click in the box at the bottom left-hand side of the window and enter the validation code
- Hit enter
- The next screen shows a “success” response
Here are the short cuts to vote quickly and multiple times:
- If you have a PC, hit your “Backspace” key… this will take you back one screen and you will not have to re-choose the GHS Marching Band in the drop down window.
- Make sure your cursor is in the validation box.
- Validation code short cuts…
a. There are always two words, if one of the words is a “real” word, you don’t have to type it.
b. You don’t have to type numbers, odd characters.
c. The Unreal word can be misspelled and still be accepted.
