The Recall Lazich Group Has Created a New Political Group

The same group that tried to recall State Sen. Mary Lazich has created a group called Progressive 28^th “to carry on the effort to return the 28^th state senate district to a more sense, responsive, and progressive approach to governing, ” according to their website.

The group was only able to turn in 18,987 signatures of the required 20,973 to the Government Accountability Board (GAB).

The group’s Facebook page already has 298 fans.

The Progressive 28^th website says that their mission is:

• giving citizens a voice in their government is important

• running and supporting qualified candidates at all levels is essential

• recruiting and training effective candidates is necessary

• participating in grass-roots action is fundamental

• organizing motivated individuals in the district is key to our success

• the work done in this district will help like-minded candidates and leaders
in other districts
