3rd Annual Art Fair Planned For Greenfield Public Library
The Greenfield Public Library will hold an art fair featuring 16 local artists and more. The event is scheduled for Aug. 21.
GREENFIELD, WI — The Greenfield Public Library is planning for its 3rd Annual Art Fair to return on Aug. 21 in the Library parking lot.
The fair will bring 16 local artists, each with artwork for sale. The fair will also feature Milwaukee popsicle seller, Pete's Pops, according to the library website. The event will also feature a day full of do-it-yourself crafts, according to the event's Facebook page.
The 3rd Annual Library Art Fair will be held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Aug. 21. The event is planned for the west parking lot of the Greenfield Public Library, located at 5310 West Layton Avenue.

11 a.m. - Vintage bottlecap necklaces and keychains.
12 p.m. - Washi butterflies and bookmarks.
1 p.m. - Alcohol ink.
2 p.m. - Bubble art.
The library has previewed a couple of artists that will be featured at the fair on its Facebook page. Gary Datka, an artist who makes use of wood turning for his work, will make an appearance, according to a post from the library.
"I have always enjoyed working with wood. For the past 10 years I have been lucky enough to be selling my crafted projects. I like to be creative with what I have, be it a trunk of a tree, a branch, or flat boards," Datka said in the Facebook post.
Barbara Friedman, a local painter, will also be featured at the fair.
"I love to paint what makes me happy: fruit, flowers, and beautiful objects," Friedman said in the library's Facebook post.
