Alverno College Announces Faculty Promotions for 2024
Nine retiring faculty recognized by their peers for the status of faculty emeritus or emerita.

It is with great pride that Alverno College announces the recent promotions of our esteemed faculty.
Joyce Tang Boyland, PhD, has been promoted to professor of psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and she has taught at Alverno since 1998.
Becky Engen, PhD, MT-BC, has been promoted to professor of music therapy. She earned her PhD in Music Education from the University of Iowa, with an emphasis in Music Therapy. She has taught at Alverno since 2018

Mikki Ray, PhD, has been promoted to professor of psychology. She earned her PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has taught at Alverno since 2009.
Stephani Richards-Wilson, PhD, EdD, has been promoted to professor of business. She earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego. She also earned a PhD in German from the University of Wisconsin. She has taught at Alverno since 2016.

Eulandria Biddle, PhD, has been promoted to associate professor of biology. She earned a PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has taught at Alverno since 2017.
Kelly Henckel, DAT, ATRL-BC, LPC, has been promoted to associate professor of art therapy. She earned her Doctorate in Art Therapy from Mount Mary University, and has taught at Alverno since 2017.
Rebekah Klinger, Ph.D., has been promoted to associate professor of biology. She earned her PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and has taught at Alverno since 2018.
Mindy Kramer, EdD, has been promoted to associate professor of education. She earned her Doctor of Education from Alverno College and has taught at Alverno since 2016.
