Alverno College Welcomes New CFO and VP of Finance and Administration

Elizabeth Moore will act as a key advisor, helping to lead the College toward sustainable growth.

Elizabeth Moore has been named Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration for Alverno College. In this role, Moore will act as a key advisor, helping to lead the College toward sustainable growth. She will serve as a member of the executive team, participating in institution-wide strategy planning and policy development.

“I am excited to welcome Elizabeth to Alverno to have her lead our finance and administrative teams,” said Christy L. Brown, president of Alverno College. “She has an extensive background in finance and has proven expertise in technology, change-management, and executive leadership. I look forward to the fresh perspective she will bring to the team as we work together to keep Alverno strong.”

A strategic and hands-on leader, Moore brings more than 25 years of financial experience to her new role including forecasting and financial planning, collaborative problem-solving and results-focused operational oversight. She has held numerous positions in healthcare, including most recently as Interim Chief Financial Officer for Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, Ark. Prior to that, she served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Richland Hospital and Clinics in Richland, Wis., and in various roles with health systems in Southeastern Wisconsin where she honed her skills in navigating the complexities of a rapidly evolving financial landscape. Managing budgets of up to $2.5 billion, Moore also has experience overseeing process improvement efforts and systems implementations. She has achieved strategic goals and strong financial performance results through stakeholder engagement.

Moore holds three Bachelor of Science degrees – one in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, one in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, and one in Accounting from Lakeland University in Sheboygan. She also has a Master of Business Administration from Marquette University.
