The UW-Stout Scholar Athlete Award is given to student-athletes with a cumulative 3.50 grade point average in the semester preceding their final season of eligibility. Each recipient invited an academic faculty or staff member who had a positive impact on their time at UW-Stout.
“These student-athletes exemplify excellence, both in their educational pursuits and their athletic endeavors,” said Chancellor Charles W. Sorensen, who participated in the ceremony.
The medallion designs were submitted by student-athletes Alexa Herasimchuk, Kate Mikutowski, David Nett and Zak Snell. The Scholar Athlete Award program is supported by the offices of the Chancellor, Academic and Student Affairs, University Advancement and Marketing and Administrative and Student Life Services.
