New Subdivision, Condo Projects See Common Council Approvals
A condo project and a new subdivision were approved by the Greenfield Common Council on Tuesday.

GREENFIELD, WI — A condominium development near 124th and Waterford Avenue that was delayed in 2007 by the Great Recession was revived with two approvals at Tuesday's Greenfield Common Council meeting.
At present, the 4.28-acre plot of land at the end of Waterford Avenue's cul-de-sac—the site that was previously approved for construction of several condos—lays dormant. With the approval of the development's site, landscaping and architectural plans on Tuesday, however, the land is poised for a revival of the 16-unit condominium plans.
A similar project was approved for the site in 2006, but work stopped in 2007 with the economic recession, and no buildings were constructed, according to plan commission documents.

Eight buildings, each containing two condos, are proposed to be constructed around the Waterford Avenue cul-de-sac or facing 124th Street, the site plan map shows.
The condos, aside from one, would each be 1593 square feet with two bedrooms, according to plans submitted to the city. Janssen Bruckner LLC and Colliers International proposed the development.
